Yes — the SAMi Camera will continue recording to its microSD card even if it loses internet or Wi-Fi connection. However, the camera must first be set up using Wi-Fi (either through your home network or the SAMi Router) to connect with the SAMi App.

Once it’s paired, the camera will keep recording during outages, but you’ll need an active Wi-Fi connection to access live monitoring and alerts.
