The SAMi Router must be within 30'-40' of the SAMi Camera in order to properly function and connect with the camera and iOS device. We highly suggest placing the SAMi router in the same room as the camera or in a location in between the SAMi Camera and the Apple iOS device that will be used to monitor and alert you. 

It is always important to test that the camera and SAMi app are properly functioning before you begin monitoring.
