If you plan to travel with your SAMi camera and want to use it in a location where you do not have access to WIFi (for example camping) then you need to make sure you have a SAMi Router. So long as you have a consistent power source to have your SAMi camera and SAMi Router plugged in to, then you can use the system to monitor and alert you.

There are plenty of portable power solutions that you can use to power your SAMi camera while camping such as the Goal Zero Portable Power Station. These solutions are not provided by SAMi Alert and we can not recommend or guarantee the performance of any third-party portable power station that you purchase.
