If your home WiFi network is bad and has poor signal in the room the room you want to monitor in, then your SAMi camera is at risk of not working properly. If your SAMi camera loses WiFi, then it can not communicate with the SAMi App on your iOS device. 

If you have bad WiFi service in your home, then we have two options you can take:

Purchase a SAMi Kit

If your home WiFi is problematic and doesn't have good signal, then we highly recommend that you purchase the SAMi Kit that comes with a dedicated SAMi Router. The SAMi Router will ensure you always have a connection with your SAMi camera because it does not rely on an internet service provider. Best of all, the SAMi Kit allows you to travel with your SAMi camera and easily set it up on teh go!

Purchase a WiFi Extender

If you want to have the SAMi camera remain on your home internet but you do not have strong signal in the room that you want to use your SAMi camera, another option is to purchase a WiFi signal booster or extender. There are plenty of options available to purchase on Amazon or you can reach out to your internet service provider for suggestions on the best models that work with your home WiFi network.
