The Camera Clamp is a flexible, easy-to-install mounting solution for your SAMi-3 camera. It securely attaches to furniture like cribs, bed frames, or shelves—providing a stable overhead view without needing a floor stand or wall mount.
Please follow these instructions AFTER you have already connected your SAMi Camera to the SAMi App
What's Included
1x Clamp base
1x Flexible gooseneck arm
4x White Velcro cable straps
Note: The Camera Clamp is designed specifically for the SAMi-3 camera. No adapter or tools are required.
Step-by-Step Setup
1. Choose a Mounting Location
Select a sturdy surface near the sleeping area, such as:
A crib rail or bed frame
A shelf, dresser, or nightstand
Any stable furniture
⚠️ Maximum clamp opening: 1.6 inches (4 cm). Ensure your chosen surface is not thicker than this.
⚠️ Choking Safety Hazard: Make sure the location you choose does not leave the camera power cable accessible to infants or children due to choking hazards!
2. Attach the SAMi Camera to the Clamp and Mount It
Screw the flexible goose neck into the back of the SAMi Camera.
Once the camera is secured and pointed roughly in the direction you are monitoring, plug in the power cable, leaving the power cable unsecured. We'll secure the cable with the straps later.
Pinch the clamp base to open the jaws.
Position it around the selected surface and release to clamp it in place.
Confirm that the clamp feels tight and does not shift.
3. Adjust Camera Position and View
Bend the gooseneck to aim the camera directly toward the sleeping area.
Open the SAMi app and use the live view to adjust the camera angle, making sure the area of the body you want to monitor for movement is clearly visible.
4. Secure the Power Cable Using the Velcro Straps
Run the power cable neatly along the gooseneck arm.
Use the included white Velcro straps to secure the cable in place.
Avoid loose or dangling cable sections.
✅ Tip: Use the silver piece on the gooseneck mount to secure the camera if it feels flimsy.
5. Final Safety Check
Before use:
Confirm the clamp is firmly attached to the surface.
Ensure the camera is screwed on tightly.
Check that the gooseneck holds its position.
Review the live video feed in both light and dark to ensure the view is centered and clear.
