Hello - It would be helpful to be more specific about recordings and storage between the camera and the devices connecting to the camera. The section on "enable automatic recording transfers" is not entirely clear.

1 - With transfer recordings enabled, Am I right that you have 2 places from which you can review, lock or delete videos - directly from the SD card or from the recordings on your device.

2 - Recordings are made on the Sami Camera. When the Sami camera runs out of room, it deletes or simply writes over the recording on the camera. The available storage space on the Sami camera is available on the recordings screen.

In summary, with transfer recordings enabled, you have 2 places from which you can review, lock or delete videos - directly from the SD card or from the recordings on your device.

    Hi Peter,

Here are answers to your questions:

    1. Recordings are stored in two places - on the camera's microSD card and in the SAMi App (assuming you automatically transfer them to the app). Recordings on the SAMi Camera are automatically overwritten (starting with the oldest recording) once 1,000 recordings are made. Recordings can not be locked on the camera's microSD card. However, you can remove the microSD care and transfer recordings to a computer if you choose to. The only place to review, lock, or delete videos is on the SAMi App.

    2. As mentioned above, once 1,000 recordings are made, it will delete recordings starting with the oldest one.

    We hope this makes sense!

    Best,

    Team SAMi
